Welcome to the Alvarado Street Brewery Taproom, a former 1929 bank reimagined as a relaxed, kid friendly, beer-first gathering place in the heart of Oldtown Salinas. With 48 taps pouring beers from all three of our breweries, the Taproom pairs Art Deco charm with a laid-back atmosphere built for everyday visits. Our updated menu focuses on craveable pub fare — from signature smashburgers and sourdough pizzas to fresh tacos and snackable appetizers — all made with quality, local ingredients and served at approachable prices. Whether you're stopping in for happy hour or a night out with friends, the Taproom is a place to kick back and stay awhile.
Reservations and large party info
We primarily accept walk-in guests for groups of 1-10 in our main dining room for lunch & dinner. We have a limited number of reservations that can be made in advance via the link below on Open Table for tables in the dinning room. Additionally, there are 44 bar seats and 25 lounge seats on a first come, first serve basis available. If you would like to make an advance reservation of 10+ guests for our main dining room or inquire about a private event for up to 25 guests in our upstairs mezzanine, please email us at salinas@asb.beer, and allow up to 48 hours for a response. We currently are not taking any groups larger than 25 guests at this time.

Do you have Happy Hour?
Yes! We have Happy Hour from 3–6pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Enjoy $5 beers and 25% off all food within that time.
Do you take reservations?
We primarily welcome walk-in guests for groups of 1–10 in our main dining room for lunch and dinner. We also offer a limited number of advance reservations via OpenTable for tables in the dining room.
Do you host events or large groups?
We love having groups and community events here! However, this location is currently not taking groups larger than 25 people at this time. Please email us at salinas@asb.beer to book your large party!
Is there outdoor seating?
We do not have outdoor seating at this location.
Are dogs allowed?
Since we do not have outdoor seating at this location, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate dogs here.

There’s street parking right out front of the restaurant, plus a public parking lot located just behind our space!
